Preparing the Future HIV Educational Program

This free educational program is ideal for MSW students interested in pursuing work with individuals affected by HIV, healthcare, and health advocacy. It is a university-wide initiative to provide information and strategies to enhance the care and support that we provide to patients, families, and communities at large. Please consider signing up for 1 or all of the course offerings that are available as Social Work participation is essential in this initiative. This program will prepare students to work together to improve patient outcomes and reduce health disparities related to HIV and HCV. Interprofessional education provides classroom and hands on curriculum specifically for health & human service professionals and will help participants incorporate key goals of the National Priorities for HIV and the Viral Hepatitis Action Plan into future practice.
