Stephens Presents at Department of Defense Fatality Review Summit


Stacey Stephens, LCSW-C Clinical Instructor and Director B'more for Healthy Babies Upton/Druid Heights, UMSSW Promise Heights, along with Dr. Shelly Choo, Senior Medical Advisor of Bureau of Maternal and Child Health at the Baltimore City Health Department presented “B’more for Healthy Babies SLEEP Safe Campaign at the Department of Defense Fatality Review Summit in July in Alexandria, Virginia.

Summit attendees included leadership of each Military Service and program directors of the Family Advocacy Program of the Department of Defense.

Their presentation focused on the effectiveness of Baltimore’s sleep safe campaign. The Family Advocacy Program leadership presented on their program’s prevention and intervention efforts for child abuse and neglect and domestic abuse in military families.
