The attorneys at Polson & Polson are excited to offer a financial award of $500 to a student pursuing higher education who can clearly demonstrate the characteristics of perseverance, determination and unwavering commitment to triumphing over roadblocks on the path to individual success as well as overall civic betterment. Submission Details: The applicant must submit an original essay of approximately 750 words (12-point, Times New Roman font) which articulates a circumstance or time-period which presented hardship and explains how those challenges were conquered and were prevented from deterring the applicant’s drive to further the greater good. All eligible candidates must be enrolled in a course of study at an accredited community or junior college, undergraduate or graduate degree program, or a high school graduate preparing to embark on college-level studies. Potential recipients of the scholarship must show proof of good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of at last 3.0.
