Baltimore in Conversation Weekend

Join us for a red carpet weekend of LGBTQ stories that inspire empathy and action Project Presence: Historically Black College and University students in photo exhibition addressing social stigma, June 8th 5:30-8:30pm A community based visual storytelling exhibition that showcases the lives and narratives of same gender loving people in Baltimore City. The goals are to address the social stigma surrounding sexual identity and sexual health. This free event will highlight visual stories of six diverse members of Baltimore's LGBTQ community. It's pain, art, beauty and something in between. You've never seen anything like it. Join us for this magnificent event. Food will be provided as well. Baltimore in Conversation, June 9th 5:30-8:30pm A red carpet event of never-heard-before stories of triumphs from African American same gender loving people and their allies. The goal is to inspire hope and to build community empathy around structural oppression and its impact on our everyday lives and health. This free event will create space for conversations about how we can take action within our city, and have rooms for people to go and breathe, meditate, and/or talk to social workers about any concerns and triggers that come up for them during and after the show. Food will be provided as well. Health care workers are encouraged to attend. CME, CNE, and CEU credits for medicine, nursing, social work and addiction counseling will be available to attendees of the June 9th storytelling event.
