The Child Welfare Academy represents a partnership between the School of Social Work and the Maryland Department of Human Resources, Social Services Administration. Through specialized training and support, the Child Welfare Academy prepares public child welfare professionals and resource parents to provide services and care for children and families in the Maryland public child welfare system.
