On Friday, April 21, Dr. Michael Reisch, Daniel Thursz Distinguished Professor of Social Justice, gave a seminar to students and faculty of UMBC's Shriver Center on "Faith-Based Views of Social Justice." Dr. Reisch's presentation traced the evolution of concepts of social justice as expressed by various religious traditions. He pointed out their numerous similarities, discussed some of their differences, and reflected on the implications of these views of social justice for contemporary society.
