Applications Now Open! CSWE Minority Fellowship Program, Youth - Info. Session Scheduled for Monday,


The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) has opened applications for The Minority Fellowship Program - Youth (MFP-Y), which provides a monetary stipend, specialized training, mentorship, and other supports to direct practice focused racial/ethnic minority social work master’s students who are committed to providing mental health services to at-risk children and youths in underserved minority communities. The fellowship is for the advanced year. The purpose of the program is to reduce health disparities and improve health-care outcomes of racially and ethnically diverse populations by increasing the number of culturally competent behavioral health professionals available to underserved populations with or at risk for mental health disorders in the public and private nonprofit sectors This past year, four advance year students from UMB SSW were selected as MFP-Youth Fellows!
