Presenters will discuss a brain-based learning and study strategy developed at the University of Maryland School of Nursing Student Success Center. Presenters will explain the three-stage model (Preview, Review, Synthesis) and students will learn to utilize brain-based learning activities and strategies at each stage to improve their retention and understanding of course content. Finally, students will learn how to develop a personalized study plan and schedule based on the strategies described.
