Educators and others who needs school supplies can get what they need at our "free store." We're looking for volunteers on Thursdays from 3:00 - 5:30 to welcome and check guests in/out at the front table; unload and organize donations; carry guests’ bags outside; and assist guests as needed. Volunteers must be able to: - exhibit a friendly, courteous manner towards guests - show up for shifts as scheduled in advance - follow directions of a supervisor - work in an unheated/un-air conditioned warehouse environment
The Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap equips teachers with school supplies that would otherwise go to waste. We collect donations from schools, teachers, businesses, and individuals and make them available at our "free store." Anyone who needs supplies is welcome to browse our inventory and take what they need.
