Spirituality in Patient-Centered Care April 17

Learn why being comfortable with religion and spirituality is important for good patient care. This interactive presentation is for students who plan to work with patients in a medical care context. Dr. Michelle Pearce, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who has trained many up-and-coming medical professionals how to assess and address their patients’ religious and spiritual issues. Students will have ample opportunity for discussion and to practice the skills in pressure-free, one-on-one role plays.
