Does anything related to your finances keep you up at night? Are you worried about what is going to happen after graduation and if you’ll be prepared, finance-wise? Do you wonder about steps to take to make sure you are on the right track for you and your needs and goals? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes!” please join us for a special “lunch and launch” on Monday, May 1, from 12:15-1:15 in 2W11 to explore these and other questions related to student personal finance and how to optimize your financial launch and financial well-being once you graduate. We’ll hear from Tisa Silver-Canady, MBA, of UMB’s Office of Financial Education and Wellness on nuts-and-bolts and from other social workers as well who work in the financial capability and well-being areas within our community. Finances can be tough to talk and think about, but facing them directly and thinking them through with guidance and helpful tools can make all the difference. Please join us! Lunch will be provided as well.
