Amelia Rubenstein Receives Governor's Citation for work with Human Trafficking

Congratulations to Amelia Rubenstein on receiving the Governor's citation for her hard work and support on human trafficking awareness, victims' rights and dedication to the Safe Harbor Task Force of Maryland. Amelia Rubenstein is the Clinical Research Specialist leading the efforts for the Child Sex Trafficking Victims Initiative (CSTVI) at the Ruth Young Center, with Dr. Nadine Finigan-Carr, PI. The Governor's ceremony was held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Maryland State House, in the Governor's Reception Room. A small clip of the ceremony and Amelia Rubenstein is below.

CSTVI is a five-year partnership between UMB School of Social Work and the Maryland Department of Human Resources to address the issue of sex trafficking among youth involved with child welfare. CSTVI was established with funding from the Children's Bureau.
