Dr. Tanya Sharpe invited Guest Lecturer at Boston University School of Social Work

On January 24 Boston University School of Social Work welcomed Dr. Tanya Sharpe to discuss her research on African American survivors of homicide victims. Sharpe’s lecture, entitled, “Understanding the Sociocultural Context of Coping for African American Survivors of Homicide Victims,” focused on her work and research around the African American experience of coping with the homicide of a loved one, offering culturally responsive solutions for research and practice.
