Volunteer Opportunity: Maryland Science Olympiad Tournament

Volunteers are needed for a middle school science and engineering tournament for 270 Baltimore city children. Volunteers will help guide the students, do logistics, proctor tests and help with scoring. Experience not necessary. Science Olympiad is a national program for 30 years and the foremost STEM after school program in the country. UMB is a major sponsor and mentor to 3 teams! Come cheer them on!

Maryland Science Olympiad is a science and engineering tournament program. In Baltimore, teams are in 25 city schools. It is part of the national Science Olympiad program, offering students over 20 choices of life, earth, and physical sciences, and engineering challenges each year.
