During the inauguration on Friday, January 20, join the Anti-Oppression Work Group and students, faculty, staff, and community members to practice an active bystander intervention based on the principles of strategic nonviolence at the UMB Community Engagement Center.
Our training is one of dozens taking place simultaneously at sites across DC, MD and VA. Join us as we practice responding helpfully and nonviolently when we witness hate speech or harassment.
Sign up using the link below to learn how to:
- de-escalate conflict

Our training and all of the others across MD, DC, and VA are free. All you have to do is sign up, show up, and stand up!
