Looking for Social Work students to help co-lead inter-professional student wellness seminar at the

Hello Social Work Colleagues! We, your neighbors at the medical school, are running a workshop about student wellness and we need your help! The Gold Humanism Honor Society, a group of senior medical students committed to humanistic values, is organizing small group sessions for our first year medical students to discuss issues related to student wellness and burnout. We are looking for 8-10 social work students to join us as co-leaders of these groups as we know that you will bring a really important and unique perspective to these discussions. The outline for the session is detailed below and all of the reading material and discussion questions will be sent to you several days in advance. Outline: -Article about depression among med students and physicians -Article debrief and discussion questions -Cases about wellness with follow-up discussion points and questions The session will be held on January 18th between 1-2pm in one of the medical school buildings (directions will also be supplied).
