Family Connections Holiday Party Needs Volunteers

Social Work Community Outreach Services is looking for student volunteers to assist with a Holiday Party hosted by Family Connections. Family Connections is a program of the University of Maryland School of Social Work which develops, implements, and tests community-based family strengthening services that empower vulnerable families to achieve their safety, well-being, and stability. We are looking for volunteers to assist with family engagement, arts and crafts, games, serving food, setting up and cleaning up. The Holiday party will be held at New Song Community Center on Wednesday December 7th at 5:00pm. There will be a pre-volunteer orientation held at the School of Social Work on Monday December 5th from 12:15-1:15 in room 3E10. Please Email swcos@ssw.umaryland.edu to RSVP.
