Promise Heights (PH) Initiative of the University of Maryland, Baltimore. PH provides a multitude of services to the Upton/Druid Heights community of West Baltimore to assuage the impacts of socioeconomic inequality. Implemented through a place-based, comprehensive model, PH supplements the neighborhood’s strengths with child, family and community-building programs facilitated by licensed social workers.
