LTSC Baltimore City Youth Soccer Clinic

Every fall since 2007, Lutherville-Timonium Rec Soccer has sponsored six weeks of soccer clinics in Baltimore City at Clifton Park and Carroll Park through the Baltimore City Recreation and Parks after school program. It has been our chance to give back to the community for all the support we have received through the years. Each participant receives a pair of cleats, a soccer ball and a jersey, and they get a chance to experience soccer the way our LTRC kids have come to know. Wednesday afternoon (October 26) from 4:00 – 5:30 at Carroll Park we will have 40-50 kids (grades 2nd to 6th) from seven area rec centers attend this clinics. I will lead and organize the drills for all of the kids but I need some “coaches” who are willing to help me supervise each of the activities. We generally run them like any other soccer practice, with a little more focus on fun rather than training. The kids really are enthusiastic about the 90 minutes and it really flies by but the impact you make during this short time is significant to them.
