Students in some SOWK 630 classes will be trained in registering voters with the organization www.headcount.org
This is a non-partisan grassroots organization that works to promote participation in democracy, especially elections.
If you are a student who has moved here from another state and need to register to vote here in Maryland, it is easy and you have until 10/18 to do so.
We will be available in the lobby from 12-2 on Tues 9/21 and Wed 9/20 of next week and again on Wednesday 9/28. We will schedule more dates and times if needed or go to the website and make your changes directly online.
