Ashlie Kauffman Sarsgard, MFA, MA and Samantha Fuld, DSW, MSW, LCSW-C presented the SSW's work on the student prerequisite, A Brief History of Oppression and Resistance, at the Online Learning Consortium's Accelerate 2021 Conference: Accelerating Online Learning Worldwide. The session was titled "Developing a Localized Anti-Oppression Prereq: Lessons for Making It Relevant, Applicable, Measurable, and Engaging" and focused on the development, design, and continual improvement process for the course. The work represents the collaborative efforts of many at the School, including Emma Kupferman, MSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, Victoria Stubbs, MSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, and Lane Victorson, LMSW, who each contributed major portions and helped conceive the overall course.
