Maryland Child Trafficking Conference: Breaking Down Barriers. Creating Change - September 20

The University of Maryland School of Social Work in collaboration with the Governor's Office of Crime Control & Prevention, the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force, and the Maryland Department of Human Services are sponsoring the 2nd annual statewide public awareness conference focused on child trafficking in Maryland.

The Maryland Child Trafficking Conference: Breaking Down Barriers: Creating Change. is designed to disseminate knowledge, strategies and practices across Maryland professionals, communities and individuals to effectively mobilize responses to trafficking of children and youth. The conference will address the intersection of sex trafficking and labor trafficking with other aspects of identity to transform attitudes, policies, and practices that encourage justice and healing for victims.
